The Winnipeg Education Centre was a design competition limited to three participants. The project was envisioned as an integrated community resource centre to house the combined Social Work and Education programs of the University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg.

The project was intended to be a social and community hub representing the unique cultural environment of the Selkirk Avenue. Our solution would open the school to the street and the community by providing a large transparent area at the street and position the public uses along the Selkirk Avenue axis.
